From The Inside Out

What's up, friends!

New year same us AYYYYY!! Sort of… let's explain! So as the ball dropped on New Year's Day, we did not suddenly get this burning desire to clean more, pray more, and eat better. Crazy right? Wasn't 2021 supposed to be a reset? We want to change plenty in our lives, but what's different at our core on January 1st from December 31st that will motivate that to happen? Hmmm, let's think about what that means.

When you want to grow your followers on insta or TikTok you cant just throw up a selfie with a fire fit and expect the change overnight. You gotta put in some work. You have to post on stories, engage in the comments, post on your page, make videos, market yourself the right way. You have to take the time to post something so fire that it goes viral, and then you have to keep your followers entertained.   There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes on to see some growth in your pages. What you put in, you'll see come out. This applies to all aspects of our lives. What you put in your body and digest will determine your fitness journey. What you read on the news will determine your outlook and anxiety at this time. The time you put into praying, reading, and canceling the noise around you that isn't God will determine your spiritual life.

So here we are in a new year but the same season as our Pastors said. The change we see is always going to be determined by what we put into it. Instead of making some crazy untouchable goals and expectations, put in the work to what you already know to be good and true that will eventually lead to some growth. At your core, make those changes that will help you bear new fruit. Continue to filter your social media, continue to spend more time with God instead of online. Spend time with your family, reevaluate your values compared to what God and the world say they should be. Where do they fall? Let's keep working on ourselves and aligning our hearts with God so that He can transform us from the inside out, for the long run, rather than for a phase to match the world.

We love you all!
