All Planned Out

Hey y'all!

Recently we were talking about study habits and how we prepare for tests. Jesse is absolutely the one to prepare the night before, wake up early, get there early. I, on the other hand, like to wing it. I take notes as best I can. I wake up with just enough time, get there with just enough time, and scan my notes over once more so they're fresh. We both did pretty well in school despite having such different methods of learning. Heck, we still function like that now as adults. When it comes down to it, we have confidence in our plans. We have really leaned in to what we know works and won't fail us.

Now when we think of God and how solid He is in His plans, why do we hesitate? That same confidence isn't there. When we put God in the box of how we know our world functions, we don't have any faith. We hope that everything operates in what we know. God is so much bigger than our box, and we need to have confidence that  His plan is fail-proof. That doesn't mean there won't be any moments of failure; it just means God allows all things with intention!

This week we want you to come with that same energy you have for yourself, but place it in God. Honestly, your energy should be bigger! I'm sure that in your life and ours, there's a routine that needs some shaking and some plans that need to be handed over to God in faith. What have you been trying so hard to control, but it's just not working out? Did you ask God where you should be investing your time as you seek purpose? We are praying God gives you the confidence this week to let Him lead you into the plans that are right. His love never fails us!

We love you!

Jesse and Marissa
