Game Plan

Hey friends!

We pray y'all have had a wonderful weekend! Did anyone do something fun? We watched some football and hung out with family. Have you ever wondered what all it takes to play such an intense game and come out winning?

Well, when Pastor Dre was talking this Sunday, it made me think. When you're getting ready to play in the Super Bowl, which is coming up, it takes a lot of dedication. When you get prepared for any sport really! You have to slow down and allow your mind to focus on only what you're doing. You can't be scatterbrained trying to make a touchdown and thinking about dinner. You have to focus, study the playbook, and look to your coach for guidance. He's qualified, and there is hardly ever a moment of doubt. You know he's going to lead you to victory!

Our journey to clarity with God is the same. Pastor Dre advised us to still our minds. Focus on what God is speaking to you. Slow down. Take a moment to listen before jumping ahead. Pray. Speak with God after you've heard. How else will you be able to notice when He's telling you to move. Read your Bible and get to know Him. That's the playbook! That's the book with every tool you'll ever need to succeed! Lastly, seek Godly counsel. Just as we rely on our coaches to give us the play-by-play and catch things we might have missed, look to your student leads and Pastors to guide you. God has placed them in your lives to help you win and draw closer to Jesus!

We love you! And we pray that this week you will continue to move towards clarity in the things that God has for you!
