Because He Lives

Hey friends!

We hope you had a wonderful Resurrection Day! This week I went to the doctor's office, and as I walked through the building and elevator, I thought, "wow, we really step into buildings with faith and hope that it won't just crumble!" Like we really trust some guys with a blueprint, no questions asked. Then I started to think, "well, what other things am I placing all my hope in because I'm told to, or the world says this is where it's at?" Is there something you can think of that you've placed your hope in? Yet when it comes to trusting God's plans, we have many questions and hesitations on why we don't want to enter that building of hope. We need to see the whole layout before we surrender! That's wild! Maybe all your hope is placed in the world's idea of your worth. You do what the trend is in hopes of some validation that is so temporary until the next trend comes.

As we reflect on the resurrection of our King, we find hope. He is eternal hope. Everlasting! Without fail! There is no temporary with what Jesus is offering us. He paid the price so that we would have life in Him.

So friends, why do we chase that temporary thirst quench when He offers us endless streams of hydration? Will we get it perfect? No. Should we try every day to readjust our hope and where it stands? Yes! Your hope should be in Christ, who already loves you and can offer you more than this world. I pray this week, as we have enjoyed time with our families, we will all place our hope in Christ, our Redeemer. The world has nothing for you that will last. Talk with your families and share where your hope is placed and how you can fix your eyes on Jesus instead.

We love you, and we are praying for you! Thankful for hope in Jesus and thankful that He died and rose again for you and me!
