Hey, y'all!

Jesse and Marissa here with another Movement Students update! So during quarantine, we have all become pretty comfortable in our homes. I know we have! So much that sometimes, we might not clean up as quickly as usual. I mean, no one is coming over anyway, right?! All of a sudden there are 10 pairs of shoes by the door. Where are we even wearing them?! So it becomes a bit cluttered, we can’t walk straight from the door to our destination in the house. It’s a struggle, and we make it by but with so much more effort. Many things in our life that the Bible says can be mini roadblocks for us... a pile of shoes if you will. Relationships, addictions, social media, bag chasing, trying to keep up, and have the most significant flex.

So what do we do? We clean up and declutter! We log onto tik-tok a little less, we make more outfits out of the clothes we already have, we drop those people that are not helping us grow! We clean the house! As we have been talking weekly, what has stuck out to you that you know you need to rely less on making some space for Jesus? Remember, getting rid of what is stopping us doesn’t mean more time for other things that damage us. We have to fill that space with Jesus. So, what’s it gonna be?

Let us know this Sunday, and we can’t wait to share it with you too! See you at 6 on zoom!
