God Gave An Escape
Hey dear friends!
Often in life, we may feel stuck or bound. We may feel like the end is nowhere in sight and like things are getting worse before they get better. I'm sure that's how the people in the bible felt when the Pharaoh had them enslaved in Egypt. God sent Moses to free them, and for a while, all they saw was anger, hunger, plagues. Everything but relief. What I love about this story is the fact that God's hand was in their situation the whole time! With every plague sent, they probably felt miserable! Who sent each one? God did! God had it all planned out from the plagues to the parting sea. Solutions far beyond the ordinary ones they had probably thought up. He had a way for escape ready for them.
God has given us an escape today. He has provided a way through Jesus! We may be thinking logically about how to escape our personal Egypts. We may be wondering where God is as we struggle in it too. We want to remind you that God is in it with you now. His hand is in every struggle and every victory. He has got this all orchestrated for you even when it's hurting more than ever. Will you surrender to Him today and trust that He is where you will find rest?
We are praying for you this week and always. Take time to talk about Passover with your family. Are you in Egypt together as a family or individually? How can you pray for one another? We are praying for clarity, freedom, and thanking God that he has an escape set up for us all!
